Backstory
The Chestnut Spine Annex grew organically from a neighborhood habit of leaving useful papers near the old chestnut tree at the rear of what was once a cartographer's row house. A simple lean-to shelter was formalized over time into a semi-permanent archive nook, becoming the unofficial memory bank of the surrounding streets.
